Please note our lighting equipment is best designed to function for photography purposes, they do have built in modelling lights, but are not ideal for video. Rental includes use of two pocket wizards for connectivity. Please specify which brand of camera you use when renting lighting so we can confirm if our pocket wizards are compatible.

Cinderbloc is a great room for all kinds of celebrations and gatherings of 60 people or under, less with the addition of tables and chairs, which brings the number comfortably to 36-40. Seating for up to 36 and a few basic folding plastic tables are also included, tablecloths recommended.

Perfect for birthdays, showers, anniversaries, and small ticketed events.Cinderbloc works great for smaller (50-85person) live performances, and we are happy to host most genres, as long as the room and neighbourhood are respected by the bands/artists and attendees. The acoustics are genuinely nice, and the vibe is already cozy and intimate with our built in lighting kit and bar area. We prefer to host dry/all ages shows, but can accommodate 19+ shows if a special occasions liquor permit is purchased. All shows must acquire temporary event liability policies, and we are happy to help point you in the right direction.
Sun-Thurs - $450 (dry show - non alc options ok)
Fri-Sat - $575 (dry show - non alc options ok)
all shows have a $50 cleaning fee, as well as a refundable $150 damage deposit
add $100 to rental cost + $50 to cleaning cost for any shows that want to have a bar/alcohol sales. We do not take a cut of your bar sales or merch sales.

Rental includes full or half day use of the entire space - seating for 30-40 patrons, as well as all other standard rental amenities that we offer (see above).

Consider hosting a small wedding/elopement at Cinderbloc! With its rustic-reclaimed charm and 18’ ceilings, the studio is great for small intimate gatherings of 60 people or less, depending on setup.
You can put your friends and family to work the morning-of to decorate the space and make the studio more authentically your own.
Temporary liability insurance / special occasions liquor license required, we are happy to offer guidance!
